Dahl Haus has dropped an acid trip of a lyric video to artfully illustrate its dreamy love song, “Helium,” and support the song’s recent release as part of Somewherecold Records’ ‘Hope: For The Trevor Project’ charity compilation album.
Singer, songwriter, and video producer Blaise Dahl describes the song as “a blissful dream pop song about love, lust, and the best sex you ever had.” The smoke and powder fueled psychedelic color explosion, expertly edited by Dahl to emphasize each word down to the syllable, was created using stock footage from Pond5.
‘Hope: For The Trevor Project’ is available as an exclusive download here on Bandcamp now through September 29, 2021 for a minimum $10 donation fee.
All proceeds (after Bandcamp and PayPal fees) go to The Trevor Project. Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.
